William (Bill) Roman is the owner and founder of NCU Computers. He brings more than 35 years of experience to the field of technology consulting and computer repair service.
Before founding NCU Computers in 1990, Bill was a financial planner and systems analyst for several Fairfield County-based financial services and manufacturing companies.
Bill has a demonstrated interest in making technology less intimidating and more accessible to even the most novice and casual users. He is past president of the PC Users of Connecticut; a non-profit organization dedicated to helping consumers get the most out of their PCs. He continues to serve the organization as chairman of its board.
Bill enjoys his personal interactions with customers and takes pride in educating them on how to better understand and access the technology in their lives.
Bill frequently lectures on hot topics in computing and technology including online security and the urgent need to keep our kids safe online. He is a sought-after expert who has been featured in local media including Cablevision’s News 12. He has lectured on cyber-related topics, including computer security, before several local fraternal organizations, Chamber of Commerce groups and in community forums at area libraries. He has taught a variety of Continuing Education courses on software programs such as Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel.
Bill has a degree in Economics and Finance with a concentration in Computer Science from the University of Hartford.
In his free time, Bill is an avid coin collector, personal finance advocate and Classic Rock fan who enjoys spending time with his wife and teenage daughter.
Keith has been part of the NCU Computers team for 17 years. He brings more than 30 years of expertise to our staff. He frequently interacts with our clients on home and office-based service calls.
Keith enjoys solving complicated computer problems and is known for his tenacity and resourcefulness in addressing our customer’s system issues.
Keith holds a variety of advanced certifications. He is A+ Certified, Network + Certified and Novell Certified.
Number Crunchers is proud of Keith’s service to our country as a veteran of the U.S. Army where he attained the rank of sergeant.
